Yup, I c/c the river here, and I even over call if UTG bets and SB calls.

Checking allows UTG to bluff his missed draws, and SB to call with whatever.

No worse hand is usually going to be calling your river bet either, and by checking you as stated above are giving them the chance to bet and subsequently call with worse hands.

Obv. fold to a SB c/r.

I would rather show this down cheap than turn my hand into a bluff catcher and putting a decent bet in pretty commits you to calling if UTG shoves.

I think I check/call here. 9T just hit their Double gut shot draw. Plus I think there is a possiblity of someone slowplaying a set. With reads I think this plays different

to the c/c'ers,

how much are you willing to call? We have no idea which villain is on a missed draw, and I hate to have UTG check behind with one pair (and at 10NL it's very likely he'll call another bet).

I would call a pot sized bet. They both could be on missed draws or both could have made hands, but by c/c'ing we allow them to make mistakes and we stand to gain more then by betting this river.

yep i check here b/c i have no intention of folding and betting could force me to do that. in general i think UTG's betting range is wider than his calling range and even if its not, it certainly contains a lot more hands we beat.

At this level a PSB won't chase people from draws; and after one caller almost everybody will come along.

So we have a TPNK here and are building a big pot OOP; if we stop on turn then LAGs with draws can bluff us off our winning hand.

That's my concern.

I will usually hope to get flop checked and then lead a safe turn instead. That way the also don't give me credit for top pair - but may have drawn out on me by that time instead.
