$$ stuck in Neteller & US taxes

Hi,

Any constructive input or links to other relevant posts would be much appreciated...

I have several grand "stuck" in Neteller. The monies were transferred from a poker room to Neteller in December. I attempted to transfer the monies from Neteller to my bank account in mid January. Well, as you know it's stuck now.

I was planning on claiming the monies as income on my taxes ('cause I'm a good boy. lol)

What are the tax implications now?

Pay tax as winnings for 2006.

If the money is not returned by the end of the next tax year, then file some form for "stolen monies" and deduct it then.
