Default Strategy question: Shortstacking

So recently I have been thinking about making the move from stt's to cashgame. I have read a lot of great posters saying that its more profitable to buy in for minimum (20bb on Full Tilt).
What strategy does it take to be winning this way. Do you follow a specific chart?

Best regards, Youcanhaveitall.

yeah if you want to learn how to play cash games i think it will be beneficial to learn how to play with a full stack.

all the shortstackers that i play with are [censored] and are mostly just bad players taking shots at higher levels.

Even if you dont like shortstacking you could try and help me answearing the question as to why its a succesful strategy.

Furthermore it has to be useful to know how a good shortstacking player thinks, so you can find a way to beat him

raising allin with decent hands when the pots relatively big compared to your stacksize is good and when you're ahead of peoples ranges.

but srsly, don't shortstack.

Okay- so you buy in for 20bb's and double it....Then what???
You rathole it and do it again somewhere else? Or you play wiht 40BB's and lose it to people that know how to play poker???

I suggest that you learn how to play 100BB's effectively, which will let you double up for 100BB's when you hit a real hand. So much better.

Or you could do what most shortstackers do to me. They call me down light and hit their hand in the river. Just call my C-bet, then call my turn bet that puts you allin, and boom- you win in the river. EASY!
