Hi, to raise 8 handed in early position UTG+1 shouldnt have anything involving an 8 or a 3, so i jam the pot like you did, unless he has AA you are prob dominating a large pocket pair, QQ, JJ, prob not TT, although you are wise to check call the turn and river once the ten rears its head up, in my opinion.

The only hands my noob brain could put him on are Jacks and threes, eights full or tens full.

Although, there are some players at that limit that will pay three bets pre-flop with A8s or A3s, or pocket threes, but not too many IMO. Possibly he could have queens or aces and still bet that way pre-flop, although I'd expect him to keep raising such a strong hands pre-flop.

I don't disagree with how the hand's played, because the pot is big enough to call down. It was me, I probably would have simply called MP 1's raise after the flop and C/C'd the remaining streets.

i would guess he has pocket 8's....he is willing to reraise you on the flop and yet only cold called pre flop raises..would he be willing to cap the betting on the flop with jacks or tens when you had been the preflop aggressor?

With no read on MP1, it makes it more difficult. It's possible he's cold calling preflop w/ 99 or TT. If he's a weak player, he could also be cold calling preflop w/ JJ or QQ or maybe even A8s if today is your lucky day.

I think that there are enough possible hands you are ahead of to go ahead and lead the turn and if he raises the turn, then call down. The ten isn't enough to make me automatically go into calldown mode.
