bad river big pot
villian was 24/4 after a couple rounds

Flop: ($57) J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font> <font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $48</font>, <font color="#CC3333">MP raises to $96</font>, Hero calls $48. River ($1099) 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Hero..(~$600 left to play for) i felt pretty good about flop/turn, but could i have played it different to avoid this problem? after looking at it some more i think river is a push, but i guess my question remains about earlier streets |

i'd raise a little more on the turn, maybe to 500
and i'd push river. he either has 22/JJ or he doesn't. |

i sometimes donk turn for like 170ish or about that. c/r is fine too. i would shove the river since i assume he 3-bets jj pf and now there is only 1 combo of 66 and 3 combos of 22. i think a donk min-raising this flop can have more than those hands, maybe a lower flush or Jx. with sightly less than half pot i don't think it's too close but i could possibly be convinced otherwise. if u guys were deeper i would probably check.

i definitely like leading on the turn for about $125. This allows a smaller flush to raise you, where you can then shove. Doing this also lets you lose less on the river if he calls the $125 and the board pairs, where you can then lead again and if he raises huge you can safely fold.
