It says in the FAQ: [ QUOTE ] AF: aggression factor. This is an arbitrary number representing the relative frequency of which you are the aggressor on each street. The numbers vary greatly by your style and posting specific hands is generally better to determine if your aggressiveness is appropriate. VPIP/PFR account for your preflop aggression, so generally ignore AF - PF. Your postflop aggression will typically be around 2 - 3 on each postflop street. The flop is often higher than the turn and river, often exceeding 3.0. A micro posters overall AF (not including PF) will typically be in the 2.0 - 3.0 range. Some posters report success with overall AF's over 3, but nearly none have AF's under 2. This is not a stat worth overanalyzing unless it is woefully low or maniacally high. [/ QUOTE ]Is there a way to calculate total AF without AF - PF in Poker Tracker? Are you including AF - PF in villain's AF when you're posting? I'm little confused with this. Because the total AF the way my PT calculates it doesn't really tell much about the opponent. |

Re: A8o & A9o n00b preflop questions
Given the table lineups I think these are both automatic raises.

Re: A8o & A9o n00b preflop questions
I believe most of the stats quoted will include PF agression. You can get it either way from PT. Just check or uncheck the box. Don't remember where the box is but I think it is on the expanded stats page.
Please take a hard look at the components of AF calculation and think twice before you get too dependent on it for reads or too hung up on the concept of "improving?" your own PFR. IMO the hands you present are read dependent and the answer will vary situationally. |

It's in general info tab, player summary section. Press "more detail.." and there's the check box. These were hands from a session review I'm currently doing. I thought both of these were good spots to raise but I wasn't 100% sure and I didn't want to give wrong advice. So I wanted a line check here. In hand 2 if the villains are unknown is it better to just call or even fold? |
