I considered check raising turn, but I felt stack sizes were awkward. Anyone 3-bet flop?

I dont think this is too bad. You beat 1 hand on the river obv (AQ). I might consider folding the turn even though his bet is weak because he usually fires the river again.

I think 3 betting the flop is a pretty awful idea.

I'd often 3-bet the flop because it's a blind battle, the board is drawy, and we're OOP. I'd like to hear arguments against.

I def. 3-bet the flop. Aside from protecting your hand, the chance he's getting stubborn representing your hand or wanting to get value with AQ/AJ are high enough.

wait, i'm not sure why you narrow his range to so small in blind vs blind?

What's your image? If you're tight and he knows you'd fold AK he'll push his busted draw every time.

lol, why is 3-betting the flop awful? Only if you're planning on not check-raising the turn.
