Re: QQ 3r sat help!
hmm he limps in from middle position i doubt he has the ace
he does might have a draw here or mayb the nuts straight limping here with KQ ?? i dont think so unless you got a read on him that he would limp KQ he could limp 97 suited here or have TJ its a hard call here i would only make this call if i have a read on him |

Re: QQ 3r sat help!
Raise more preflop. t480 would be a fine opening raise in this situation, but there is a limper. Make it t600-t700 here.
The flop is OK. That turn sucks. I guess there are a couple of hands he could play this way that you are now beat by? AT, AJ, A8? Some villains will indeed take this donkish line preflop with those hands. However, look at how extremely drawy this flop was. It is pretty likely that villain just got frustrated right now with his draw that didn't hit the turn. Well KQ hit. But more likely given his preflop limp, are hands like T9 or a couple of hearts. Given the decent pot odds, I think you have to call this turn. If he sucked out with that ace, nice hand him. You don't have to win every time to break even here. |

Re: QQ 3r sat help!
Fold. Raise more pre-flop. Thinking he missed his draw is a little too optimistic here.

Drawing hands fit it very well, while aces are less likely (definitley possible though ) More importantly, we are getting 2.1 to 1, and only need a bit more than 30% equity against villains range to break even. |

Re: QQ 3r sat help!
Hes a fish, he doesnt need a draw to call a bet on the flop, because he is prolly and idiot fish.
Look at how easily this hand plays out when we raise it properly pf Hero raises to 600 Flop (1400) Villain bets 150, we raise pot to 1400 or so Turn (4300 or so) villain can only shove about 2k or so. SO, when he shoves on turn, we are getting 3-1 odds to call! |

Re: QQ 3r sat help!
Yeah, fiksdal, posts like yours and bonds and shaundeebs have turned me from a happy passive little girlscout into the homicidal axe wielding maniac that i am.
Funnily enough, if you just understand that some hands should be pushed early (aa kk) and others late when they hit, (suited connectors ets), then this poker game is kinda easy! There have been a HUGE number of hands here just today that emphasise that point, when people have had vvvvvvv difficult decisions to make on the river, or turn, when all of the money should have already gone in, and the pressure can be put back where we want it, on our opposition! |
