Default Full Boat: Slow down ever on river?

Unfortunately, the hand converter site that works for Pacific is down right now so I have a link to the hand below.

************************************************** ****************************

I suspect your intentions were good but you cannot do this. You posted a link that goes directly to a rakeback affiliate page on another site with a list of poker rooms and payback rates. That is completely unfair to 2+2 advertisers and all the affiliates who play by 2+2 rules.

This is your only warning. If you ever do this again you will be banned.

Next time you have this problem simply format the hand manually. If a hand is actually worth talking about it's worth two minutes for a proper write up.

since he can't five bet, just cap the river. If he has AA, who cares.

I think the preflop call with 87 against the SB raise is good. I really only fold very trash hands there even against quite tight PF raisers.

I think your flop play is good.

I think the turn cap is good, and I wouldn't slow down at the river. I would cap this thinking I will usually take it down.

I don't slow down on the river yet. The only thing that beats you is A8 so I raise at least once more here.

As far as the flop goes, I think your play there is O.K. You might be out kicked but chances are very high he's just overplaying his hand with overcards or a pp. I want to punish him on the turn with his aggressiveness.

I hate these middle cards pf in steal situations like this but I think you should probably play it unless villain only raises legit hands. Like to here others opinions but I think you've got to open up a great deal in the BB in these situations.

I "whatever" cap the river and expect to see pocket Aces quite a bit.

I dont get why u think this is a clear call jba? I think its pretty close isnt it? its a 50% equity spot since he cant raise the cap. I guess the only question is if he'll bet 3bet 77 or 22 on the river. If so capping is a breakeven play against his range (6 combos of 77 and 22 and 6 of AA or A8).

If u dont think hed "spew" those this way I dont see how we can include AA undiscounted because his turn play, 3betting on this board after this action, is definitely pushing it in my opinion.

I guess for me it depends on what I think the villain thinks of me, if he is familiar with me and thinks Im solid I rule out AA alittle bit since most of the good PPs Id take this line with (raising the flop and turn on this board after his flop 3bet) I would 3bet always preflop. So now his range is 8x and 77 22 in my eyes after he 3bets and calls the cap. So if hed always play this way with 77 22 or A8 on the river we should cap. If i think he thinks I wouldnt raise 98 again on the river so he wont 3bet 22 or even 77 a fair amount of the time I just call his river 3bet. If he thinks Id play 98 this way (capping turn raising river lead) and could picture him doing something ridiculous with Q8 or K8 like this ( as well as 22 or 77) in a blind battle or if I think hes on tilt I cap.

77, 22 or just maybe an (overplayed) 8. I just call, but if he can't 5-bet then capping can't be a big mistake (if any).
