Default $16t TT v BB

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t30 (7 handed)

Hero (t1510)
MP2 (t1165)
CO (t3095)
Button (t3270)
SB (t1650)
BB (t1460)
UTG (t1350)

Preflop: Hero is MP1 with T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
1 fold, Hero calls t30, 4 folds, BB checks.

Flop: (t75) 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets t60, BB calls t60.

Turn: (t195) 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB checks, Hero checks.

River: (t195) J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB bets t270, Hero ?

Would normally fold this but the river overbet made me think perhaps a busted flush draw.

Would you bet turn?

As played you should fold to the river bet. No need to play a big pot at this stage with 3rd pair. PF you should be open raising 10's almost 100% of the time. You have a strong hand and should make people pay to see a flop. Also if u raise pf this is a perfect board for a c-bet to see where u stand.

Raising TT here is not +$EV.

I would raise preflop also 4-5 BB. If you of the school of thought that TT is not +EV here then you are only playing it for set value and fold it.

I don't really understand why people automatically think that limping TT here means we have to fold it even if we flop an overpair. Limping does not mean we are playing it only for set value. FWIW I think preflop is fine as played and raising is fine too, it's not a huge deal.

As for postflop, I think you played it well, and now you have to fold the river. I don't think we have enough info to put him squarely on busted clubs.

You played it fine. Raising and limping pf are ok. As played I almost always fold the river.

Lots of people think limping TT is fine, but I think it sucks. Especially in a b v b hand.

I don't have an answer for you because I raise TT preflop, so I don't have to deal with this kind garbage.

This is a fold and I like the TT limp. I raise it depending on position though.
