Brag: Moved up to 400NL to chase my wins.

I usually play 100NL, 3 or 4 tables on my laptop, but I occassionaly jump into a 400NL or 600NL game to chase losses. When I do this, I 1-table, but I also open a few 10NL tables to mess with people and try to tilt them by playing a 50/40 style. This way I dont get bored 1-tabling, and tilting others is a known way to reduce one's own tilt.

Well, last night, I was up 3 buyins at 100NL, and then had to leave the tables for an hour. When I got back, I decided to go down to the play money tables on Full Tilt and mess with people, pushing every other hand. Anyway, I realized that was pretty sad after about 20 minutes (ZOMG, like 4 FREE reloads later). But I was in a giving mood, and felt bad after seeing all these play money grinders playing just because they like poker. One guy was very nice to me, trying to teach me to play tight. So I sent him $5, unsolicited, and he was all "WTF, why do I have money now?!?" I felt good about myself. LOL Viggaments.

I used this happy feeling and fired up 2 tables of 400NL. I ran hot for 100 hands (thanks for the boomswitch FTP), and won 2 buyins. End result: first $1000 day for this part-time player. Karma is goot.

I'm currently down 8 BI's on NL100 and after that still 2 on NL50.. But i'll get rostucko eventually.
