He has been very aggressive lately. He was pre flop raising alot and betting every time it was checked to him.

I didn't know what his 3 bet range was and he had never been played back at so I didn't know if he would lay down. Without those specific reads is this a push or fold?

Even if hes lag you're beat here. If he is tag he has a set or an overpair so muck, best case senario he has something with outs, but I feel like you are definitly beat, so fold the flop.

I'll fold PF this one .
I would olso fold TURN.
Not so shure about the right move on the FLOP.
C/C or lead.I don't think leading would be very good.

I think you're in trouble because of your flop call. Your call on the flop and subsequent turn check gives the Villain a lot of options on the turn.

I'd prefer a c/r on the flop to really find out where you're at in the hand. Betting out on the flop works as well: bet $10 on the flop and you should find out where you're at pretty quickly.

My opinion, anyway.

I think the problem is the PF call OOP agains 20/14
FLOP -C/R sucks. The pot is already 20$.How much can you CR here to see where you are ?

I don't say I have a good way to play this hand but I'm shure calling PF and CR FLOP are bad.

EDIT: If you bet out on the FLOP and he calls what is the plan on a blank turn ?
C/F?

I know that the standard play would be to fold the flop and had he not been completely bullying the table for the last 40 hands I would have.

I am defeinitely calling pre flop getting almost 2.5:1.

I thought given the situation I could float and represent a monster on the turn. I just wasn't sure he could lay a decent hand down. I guess without that knowledge I need to play it more standard.

Bet a blank turn card; c/f otherwise.

I think a c/r on the flop depends on how often Button c-bets. A c-bet on this flop is mandatory and I think you win more often than not here, especially if the Button is thinking player. If you re-raise someone PF and they c/r you on an A-high flop, you've got to think you're beaten unless your holding 2-pair or better.

Or maybe I'm a nit...

My only problem with this type of move is that there are a lot of cards that could hit on fourth street that make it likely that you'll be facing a monster hand.

I don't think you can represent a monster very well using:
C/C flop
C/C turn ...
If he was 3betting you a lot PF you could have arguments to make a stand.

The 20/14 is over about 100 hands. The previous 50 hands he was probably at 35/25 ish. Do you factor that in or just assume he was on a heater?
