Default Beat: new iTunes cost me 2k

so i downloaded the new itunes today (7.1) and started to see that whenever my songs changed, party poker freezes for about 15 seconds.

So basically i'm playing this decent sized pot, around 1k at 3/6 no limit. I'm in position, all community cards are out. I have the nuts. Villain dumps all in to me for another 500, if i call, 2k pot. OBV i hit call.... except my song changes. Party freezes for about 25 seconds, and i'm timed out.

I didn't post the hand history cause it JUST happened and i'm more concerned about if this happened to anyone else... everyone here will proabbly say, don't use itunes..... but i love listening to my music, and nothing holds a library like itunes does. help?

edit: just want to reiterate that i'm not looking for an itunes alternative, i'm looking for a patch

winamp

[/ QUOTE ]

winamp is meant to hand hundred song playlists, not 10k song libraries

So, you noticed that every 2-4 minutes all of your poker tables would freeze long enough for you to timeout...

...and you think this is a beat?

srsly this isn't itunes fault. Itunes is a mem hog but why would you be playing these limits on a computer that isn't worth 1 bb?

my rig is actually completely designed for poker

OCZ EL Platinum PC3200 2GB 2X1GB DDR400 CL2-3-2-5 184PIN Pin Dual Channel Memory Kit /W Ramsink

thats some of the best ram money can buy

no, just no. I bought the parts for my computer myself.. its a top of the line rig.

So this is obviously a glitch then.
