Theory of Threesomes
In an email exchange between friends(copied and pasted, sorry not formatted):
friend1: can I get an explanation from someone else about how the guys you'd least expect it from have threesomes (or so they claim, at least)? friend2: so here's my take on your claim about guys who you wouldn't think to get threesomes get threesomes. i believe threesomes are the result and only the result of a delicate balance between 3 characteristics of the girl: insecurity, bicuriousity, and being a freak. Insecurity and threesomes are inversely related while bicuriousity and being a nympho freak are directly related to threesomes. Ironclad rule: insecure purely heterosexual girls will not have a threesome with another girl. A girl will feel way to insecure about herself to be willing to openly subject herself to seeing her "man" with another girl. I feel this a pretty obvious fact because the girl will be constantly questioning herself (as every girl does) and will not be able to deal with her own jealously.however, in the rare case that a threesome is possible the girl may just be a nympho or bicurious. Now these do not have to mutually exclusive events but there is a threshold which needs to be surpassed. For example a some nympho and a somewhat bicurious girl may reach threesome territory while a simply somewhat bicurious girl may not. Also, a girl who is a giant nympho OR extremely bicurious may reach threesome territory (see jackie). It appears to be more of game of luck and chance but the threshold value also seems to have dropped in college but rebounded back up while out of college (see alcohol). In summation, the guys you think shouldn't have threesomes do because the girl is confident that she has hand in the relationship (so the guy is probably a tool) and not being satisfied with just the man so she seaks alternate opportunities. friend2 derives formula: threesome = bicuriousity + nympho + girl having hand over a guy - insecurity of a girl + substance abuse (esp coke (see doogie howser)) I am curious as to other people's opinions on this.

I've had 3 threesomes in my life. One was a stripper I was hooking up with who just asked if I wanted her friend to join us at a party. The other 2 were girls I had only been seeing a short time who basically just had a friend and they just happened. The strippers were just freaks who were into each other even more than me. The other 2 times the girls strangely totally focused on me and didn't really engage each other. I didn't try to figure out the psychology or social dynamics at all. I just went with it and thanked the heavens for my luck. Moral of the story. Don't overthink it.Just roll.
