Default Is this a ridiculous 58o squeeze??

I am in the SB here. 57 left in a large MTT. I have about 18k with average being 24K or so. There was a late position 3x and a smooth call from the CO. Pot was about 7K before my shove. Chip stacks seemed about right to make a big move and both raiser and caller have enough chips to easily find a fold. Looked like a decent spot. Thoughts?

If you included reads I might have said go for it. The fold equity makes a shove with any two +cEv in this spot. Of course, that does not mean that you should be making this play every time but that you should keep your eye out for a good situation to make the play.

It is bad without reads and it would be better if CAO had 20,000-25,000 chips as the more chips he has the more likely he is to gamble with AQ/AJs.

No reads. No naked squeeze.

I agree. Unless you have specific reads on these guys (has CAO min-raised before? has he laid down to a push? has other villain cold called a raise before?) I don't like a naked squeeze here.

If CAO had <25k I'd like it a lot more. As it is he can call and still have >10BB, so he's much more liable to call AQ, mid pockets (which are AWFUL for you), etc.

If you had any legitimate hand, squeeze away! (By legitimate, I mean legitimate squeezing hand of course, mid SCs, broadway, etc.)
