Villian is like 35/10 and over ~100 hands
I don't normally 3bet the flop but i felt like i wanted to play for stacks against someone who is this loose and could have a worse ace. Then the turn completed the flush and i changed my mind. Overall I'm not very happy with how it played out. Does he have me crushed on the turn or is hoping he has Ax with the A of hearts too wishful? raise pot btn pf. leading flop is ok, 3betting this flop is def spewy. Sure you're pricing out the flush draw, but villain has almost anything given 35/10 and you only minraised pf. Given that range you're not getting great equity building a big pot with this hand, I almost think he has you crushed on the flop and def on the turn.

Reload predeal, make it 7 or 8 preflop, make a nearly potsized bet on the flop.
As played your flopraise sucks, because it's too small and your turnbet is even worse. I would just call his small raise on the flop and go from there - turn is a c/f unless you know he's prone to bluff alot. And playing for stacks because you 'feel' you have to with a marginal hand oop is like burning money. |
