Default Why I don\'t miss Party Poker.

I haven't played at Party in a while, especially since they banned US players. I received an email from them today that reminded me just how much I don't like them.

It read:

Dear ddollevoet,
Our records indicate that your account has become inactive.

An inactive account is any account that has not logged in for 180 consecutive days. Inactive accounts are subject to a $.56 administrative fee, which has been deducted from your account balance on 04-Apr-2007.

As you are registered in a restricted country, you may wish to remove your balance from your account. You need not close the account as zero balance accounts are not charged an inactive fee.

*TERMS & CONDITIONS If you do not access your Account by "logging on" to your Account using your Account name and password for any period of 180 days, then after those 180 days (the "180 day grace period") your Account (and any related account with any ESP) will be deemed "Inactive". If your Account becomes Inactive, then the Company is entitled to charge you an administrative fee (the "Inactive Account Fee"). The Inactive Account Fee shall be deducted from your Account Balance at the end of each calendar month in accordance with the Inactive Account Fee Schedule.

If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact us. Our Customer Care team is available 24/7.

Sincerely,

Party Team

So in 6 months the 90 cents I couldn't withdraw will be gone?

(it will be six months, as I got smashed the other night & sat on a Party play money table for a while)

I wasn't implying that I couldn't afford the $.56...

My point is that that kicked me off the site and now they are going to fine me for not playing there?

I got the same email- except it was .66 - somehow I think Party just stole a couple million from Americans a few cents at a time.

I think you need to reread the posts a little closer. They can't play on Party, even if they wanted to, because they are in the U.S and Party banned all U.S. players. But Party is sending them emails fining them for not playing when they can't because they are banned.

Why didn't you tell them to close your acct like everyone else did when they stopped accepting US players?

So... remove your balance from your account? What's the problem? :/

Or does "remove balance from your account" mean "give your balance to Party"?
