Default NL200 78 suited and I\'m bluffing.

Villain is like 19/15 and seems pretty solid preflop but I've seen him make some pretty poor plays postflop, including stacking off bluffing with AQ suited unimproved. I was tilting a bit from losing kk to ak all in preflop to a monkey on another table, but they shouldn't know that at this one. I was running like super nitty at this table like 17/13. Basically my read the whole hand was that he had something, but it was weak. I rarely do this at all. I fold preflop sometimes and on the flop like always but was steaming and thought I'd try raising (We have a gutshot!!). What do you think of the flop raise size. On the turn I'm repping a set basically and I'd never check a set here, although I was up in the air on if I should continue the bluff or just try and hit my hand. Seemed like an obvious call with all my outs once he raises. He took forever and knew he didn't have much, but yeah looks like I got stack a donked. Played a lot today and wanted to post a hand. This one is quite different from my usual play so I thought I'd see what you guys thought.

Well once he pushes it's an easy decision. Getting there was a little yucky though. Okay a lot yucky.

Well, weakness on his part sadly has you crushed lol. Even if he has TT or a flush draw and makes this crazy move then you are waaaayyyy behind. It is very likely he has a set or QQ-AA. I guess he could have AK, AQ d's if he's bluffy like you say. But we're still way behind his range, and are barely getting the correct odds to call the turn.

I like a turn check and hope to connect on the river.

I'm probably checking this turn, since it will be a very well disguised hand if you hit, and it induces river bluffs. And I don't see what he calls with on the flop that he folds on the turn.

take your free card. if he calls that flop, he's rarely, if ever folding that turn.

Can you explain your thought process with respect to the size of the flop raise? You making it relatively cheap for him to peel.

I take the free card when he calls the raise.

Worst advice ever.

Prelop call is fine. do it (occasionally)

Flop is ok, i do think it's a tad smallish raise, make it 40-45. It really will help to define his type of hand imo.

turn, easy check behind, you pick up a good draw now and you want to get there for free and since he's willing to oblige, take him up on the offer.

river: When you hit, if he checks, over bet pot by 1.5 - 2x pot size.

I really don't like your turn bet at all. (but im sure you obv knew that). he has a monster here, he is never bluffing .
