Default SnGPT vs SnGWiz vs SpadeICM

So which ICM/SnG program to buy?

SnGPT which in my eyes is a bit "dry" but all in all does everything it needs to, to analyze ICM situations, for 79$

SnGWizard which is more colourful, does the same as SnG PT + some nice graphs, which can be really useful for analyzing special situations + a quiz - 100$

SpadeICM which of course does the same as SnGPT, too, is more userfriendly, with it's graphical interface + a trainer too - 69$

well my opion is sngwiz vs spadeicm 100$ vs 69$

One of SNGWiz's weaknesses is that it can't set a custom range excluding the top n% of K/S hands. This means that it's ability to handle situations with limpers is greatly reduced as you have to set a limper to the top n% of hands (including big hands) where in practice they are most likely to be limping the middle n% of hands with a few monsters added in. I also don't think he is likely to add this ability any time soon either, as he seems to have used alot of lookup tables to speed up the calculations which will make it very hard to add custom ranges in the future.

Another problem with SNGWiz is that I'm not 100% sure that I "trust" the output as much as I do SNGPT. There seems to have been numerous bugs in the calculations in the past, with new (very obvious) bugs sneaking through when the software is updated (not trying to get at SNGWiz here - just an honest opinion).

My guess this will be locked and you will be referred to the seach button in 10 minutes or less.

I have tried all three. IMO SNGPT is the best out there with SNGwiz a close second. SpadeICM wasn't that great from what I saw in the trial. Although SNGPT is "dry" it is a much better program.

The latest release supports excluding top% of hands in opponent hand ranges.

If you think you see a problem, PLEASE report it on the Wizard forums or send me an email. I can't fix a problem that I don’t know about.

Sorry, I hadn't checked the SNGWiz forums recently and didn't know you had added this.
