Default $27: Pkt 4s on the bubble

Villain hasn't made an impression on me thus far, believe it or not.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t400 (4 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

Button (t7955)
SB (t1835)
Hero (t1745)
UTG (t1965)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 4, 4.
UTG raises to t1940</font>, 2 folds</font>, Hero?

I'd probably call. I don't think it matters a whole lot either way.

I'd fold. You have to fade the SNGPT ranges by a significant amount in these spots. Against someone playing the K/S ranges it becomes closer.

Interesting, all 3 of you seem really good from your posts, but I would have thought this is a clear call. I'd expect CO to push enough hands SNGPT wise since this is his best spot to steal as far as the locations of the stacks, and he is about to get hit by the blinds, and tactically we lose a ton of power if we fold. Anyone want to supply some more explanation?

I would fold. I don't need to run numbers here because you are at best a coinflip, and I say you have better chances than that of someone else busting. I may be wrong on SNGPT but meh.

It close and with no read I am not calling here. If button is been passive on the bubble then it makes it an easier fold as you may get to ask him the same question next hand up.

If SNGPT says it's close, then you should call. Your FE is leaving on a midnight train to Georgia.

You have to fold here. With 2 other stack sizes similar to yours I think there is more value in shoving any 2 with fold equity rather than calling off your chips in a spot where you are most likely racing. In these spots squeezing into the money becomes more valuable than risking your toury life on the bubble.

I'm not sure what you mean by this. Button will be UTG next hand and you'll be down to 1100 or so in the SB. If anything, it seems that if Button is passive on this bubble, then he is very bad, which means you have a great shot at 1st if you double up here, which leans more to a call.

I think more importantly than anything. How has the Big Stack been playing? Has he been raising constantly or has he sat back and watched the action?
