I bet both of these rivers for value, and fold to a raise in both of them.

Hand 1 is def. bet/call. Hand 2 is a bet, but whether your fold or call depends on the action. Obv. fold for two bets.

To be honest I didn't bother to put them on a hand before writing my response. I saw how many hands they play, how strong your hands were and how passive your opponents were. You have a good hand, your opponents are all loose/passive so they will call with lots of worse hands and I don't think they aggressive enough to raise a worse hand especially on these boards. These thoughts let to my response.

Why is hand 1 a def. bet/call against a player this passive, is it because of potsize?

** grunch **

TJO,

Hand 1: I bet/call, villain may have another A or an underpair here depending on how bad he is. The flush is unlikely given that it only came on the turn, you can expect a straight, A5 or a set to raise the turn.

Hand 2: This would be a b/f for me but I'm starting to wonder whether this encourages people to bluff raise me. Anyway the problem here is that the FD has been around from the flop so it's the most likely hand for villain to be drawing to.

Not just that, but because it was a runner-runner flush, not a regular flush draw. If we lose this pot, I think it'd be to A9 much more than a flush. I think a c/r is a bluff here often enough.

Also, hero's flop check in hand one is pretty bad.
