Default JJ overpair against a super aggro player.

CO is 27/25/5.7. He's insanely aggro with any pair. Was trappy with a flopped flush though.

SB is a 40/2/0.5.

My image is laggy, as I've had a lot of good hands with which to push the table around.

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

CO ($191.15)
Button ($512.69)
SB ($148.20)
BB ($136.10)
UTG ($250.15)
Hero ($300.50)

Preflop: Hero is MP with J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. CO posts a blind of $3. SB posts a blind of $1.
UTG calls $2, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $12</font>, CO (poster) calls $10, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, SB (poster) calls $11, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, UTG calls $10.

Flop: ($51) 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(4 players)</font>
SB checks, UTG checks, <font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $48</font>, CO calls $188.15 (All-In), SB folds, UTG folds, Hero calls $130.15.

Turn: ($417.30) 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players, 1 all-in)</font>

River: ($417.30) T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players, 1 all-in)</font>

Final Pot: $417.30

This kind of spot has been troubling me a lot lately too. Would be interested to see what people have to say...

Seems fine. I imagine he rarely if ever has a better overpair, and if he happened to have 77/66 I think you have to pay him off.

what spot is that? getting 2-1 with an overpair when villian can be shoving with SO many hands that you crush and you really only trail to 6x and 77? doesn't seem like that tricky a spot to me.

well, it looks like an OESD or a six, seems like a kinda stupid way to play trips or better. he would have to be absolutely brain dead to have a pair of sevens.
