Default $3/$6 B&M flush draw on the button...boy did I misplay this one

Eight players $3/$6 B&M, table texture had just changed dramatically by a LAG busting out. I had the best seat on the table, both remaining LAG's seated immediately to my right. These are my opponents in this hand, MP3 and CO. MP3 is a smart LAG who I believe to be a lifetime winning player. I'd estimate he's about 40/20, and he knows when to back off a hand. He's a formidable opponent, and his limp unnerved me a bit. I'd estimate that CO is about 95/30.

Hero is button with QhJh

Action folds to MP3. He calls. CO calls. Hero calls. SB folds. BB checks.

Flop: Ac, 7h, 3h. (4 small bets)

MP3 checks, CO bets. Hero calls. BB folds. MP3 calls.

Turn: 2d. (3.5 big bets)

MP3 bets, CO raises. Hero (gulp) folds, MP3 calls.

River: Kh.

MP3 bets, CO raises, MP3 reraises, CO calls.

Hands like this are cues for me that it's time to get up and go home.

Since I misplayed the first two streets, is there any way I can continue on with this hand profitably after my opponents handcuffed me on the turn?

Preflop you should probably raise.

Flop is fine, you are unlikely to buy outs by raising, so don't limit the field with a raise. there's enough people to raise for value, but if you do they might not all call. So the call is good.

Turn... what can I say Horrible fold.

Well, the good news is, you didn't make any mistakes on the river.

I'd raise preflop.

I think calling the flop was fine.

Just keep calling on the turn in limit holdem with a flush draw, and or an OESD.

If there's a good chance both blinds would fold, I'd limp this pre-flop. With more than two limpers prior to me (say 4) then a raise would be nice.

The problem with raising the flop is you could blow away two players and get heads up. You could be losing your value.

Turn is a clear fold in this tiny, tiny pot especially with a smart LAG who could 3-bet behind you and a CO who could cap.

River is irrelevant. It sucks to see, but you made the right laydown.

uh, no, this is a horrible laydown. two people love their hands. If the river is a [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] you are getting two BB from each of them at least.

If I was playing this hand, I'd raise PF, bet the flop, check the turn, and cap the river.

Facing two big bets on the turn with implied odds of 19:4 (Dew Mason) and not the nut-flush draw and the possibility of a re-raise is not a great spot to be in.

Plus when it's two cold to us on the turn we haven't seen how much they "love" their hands yet, as you say.

And...we're going to get two each from two hands we beat when a very-visible third heart falls? Even from LAGs...that's too much for me to expect.
