I'm feeling lost here. I think I shold've reraised preflop, since the open raise is in MP3. What if the open raise was in early position and what about the rest?
Without reads: MP3 is 19/6/4 after about 50 hands BB is 22/5.6/1.5 after 18 hands Cryptologic Limit Holdem Ring game Limit: $2/$4 9 players Converter Pre-flop: (9 players) Hero is CO with A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 4 folds, MP3 raises, Hero calls, 2 folds, BB calls. Flop: 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (6.5SB, 3 players) BB checks, MP3 bets, Hero calls, BB raises, MP3 folds, Hero calls. Turn: 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (5.75BB, 2 players) BB checks, Hero checks. River: 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (5.75BB, 2 players) BB bets, Hero folds. Uncalled bets: 1BB returned to BB. Results: Final pot: 5.75BB |

what is your typical 3-betting standards? when the opener is as late as MP3, you are in 3-betting territory with a hand like AJs.
rest of the hand pretty much plays itself. |

[/ QUOTE ] AJs is a hand that I play differently from time to time depending on mine and the opponents position and if he is a tight raiser. I typically reraise AJs if the open raiser is in MP3 and cold call if it's raised earlier. AJo I fold, but maybe reraise in CO/button to a habitual open raiser in MP3 to late pos. I'm sure that I could play it better! Typical 3-betting hands may be TT+, AQs and AK. Maybe I can add a few hands in this spot later when I feel more comfortable in HU play.. |
