It's a shame that having lots of money and acting like this DOES make people famous. There are lots of people that watch these shows on MTV in a non-ironic fashion and really aspire to this kind of existence. Like it or not, there's a huge market for this crap, and I don't think blaming the know-nothing douchebag rich kids from Malibu is really getting at the heart of the issue.
