so my desktop computer did some weird chit and it erased all my firefox settings. i have a laptop with basically the same settings, and would like to export lap to desk.

i see where i can export bookmarks, but what about all the plugins, caches, and that crap? is there a one stop solution from one mozilla file area and drag drop it to my dsektop? or antyhing that can accomplish this?

Yes! Go here.... Mozbackup. Download this program and run it. Check all of the boxes (except "account settings only") and it will make a back up of Firefox, exactly like it is on that computer. Install Mozbackup on the other pc, transfer the backup you just made to that machine and do a restore with Mozbackup.

Might sound difficult at first, but it's actually very very easy and a very handy tool. I use it all the time to make backups of my Firefox and Thunderbird profiles.
