Default Should I try to middle this bet?

I have san antonio at -2.5 for two units. The line is now at +4 for houston. Do i try to middle this and what is the ev if i do?

The only way a middle is +EV over just keeping your original bet is if the new bet alone is +EV. Since you have no reason to believe it is, don't bother trying to middle/scalp.

Shouldn't middling be about more than just EV?
