Default 200NL - Raised on river... what to do?

Villian was 28/10/1 over 50 hands. Only other time he got to showdown, he had AA (and lost).

call because you made such a horribly weak bet on the river and you havent shown any strength whatsoever

Hmmm....my first thought was just call but is JJ+ really in his range here? Who on earth would check that flop with JJ+???

Edit: I'm assuming you were debating calling or raising. Folding would be grounds for exile from the FR forum.

Your quote is correct. No way am I folding, but was wondering if there's any value to raising here.

AA would check that flop more often than JJ, I think. He could have A3 or 66, but a fold here is pretty retarted. 50 hands isn't much of a sample so I wouldn't put too much stock in that.

As far as raising goes, what worse hands is he calling with? Any pair (boat)? This is one of the few times I'd put a lot of stock in a timing tell. If he tanked then raised, I'd really wanna fold but probably wouldn't.

I don't see anyway possible raising here could be correct. I would have cc the river. Not making a c-bet on that flop is very suspicious.

BTW -- is that an automatic defense of your blind with q-10 suited in this spot? Is this a +EV play against a fairly passive postflop button?

Just give up the bb and move on.

I confess that was my first thought, too. Is that too nitty? QT just don't play that well OOP HU vs. pfr, even an aggressive one.

FPF said, if you're gonna play, it's very important to get maximum value out of it. It might make you a better player in the long run.
