Push pre-flop when it's back to you.

[ QUOTE ]
Push pre-flop when it's back to you. [/ QUOTE ] As played, check it down and call any bet. If A-K is in his range it is still twice as likely to be his hand than KK. Pushing only gets called by KK, 10-10, or A-K (which will push anyway). You might induce QQ to push or K-K to slowplay. Unlikely to be giving up much by allowing free cards. Most villains would have 4-bet pushed KK. |

Re: Can you get away from this?
I push here. You didn't give him odds to hit a set. If he has KK, he has KK. He could have AA, KK, AK, or even a smaller pair. Push to avoid the negative freeroll. Especially if he's a station. If he has KK how are you going to get away from this? He could have QQ and you're getting away from the best hand.

[/ QUOTE ] I like this, and if you had more chips behind, I think this would be correct. But you aren't really deepstacked, which makes this a push. There is no way you are folding, and you can't be scared of one specific hand. Push, worse hands are calling. |

Re: Can you get away from this?
Yeah, if you were really deep, this would be a tough spot requiring finesse. Your raise size has reduced this situation to short stack poker.
Short stack poker + overpair = all in. |

[/ QUOTE ] After re-evaluating the stack and pot sizes, I agree with this. Pushing does not scare away the worse hands at this point. |

Re: Can you get away from this?
I check raised him all in cause i figured QQ, JJ would fire at this pot if checked to and prolly fold if facing a push.
