Default Late in 22r KQ decision on BB

I have been thinking about this one a lot since last night. This hand is not the one that got me busted but I am thinking that this hand is the one where I made a mistake that cost me some actual $$. We are already ITM.

Down to 20 players I am on big blind with some 270 000 (after posting my BB) standing 3rd overall. Blinds are at about 4000 - 8000 with 600 ante (those values are approximately right but not exact). I have KQ offsuit in the BB.

Table is 5 or 6 handed and its folded to button who pushes for about 90 000.

The smaller stacks have been pushing a lot with about 10 BB stacks. Button has done so about once per orbit so he did not pushed that often but often enough to maintain his stack.

Call or fold with comment please.

Thanks,

With your stack size, I think you should focus on winning more pots by taking control of the hand, putting pressure on others, getting the money in first, and winning without a showdown rather than calling off 1/3 of your stack as a slight dog against his range, even if you were slightly +CEV in this spot.

oops edit, i think i might have folded vs the player in question, he wasn't as active as he could have been. It is close though.

KQo is 50% versus a top 25% hand and 40% against a top 10% hand, so if villain in playing correctly this is an easy call, but if he is tight in these situations, it is a fold. The call can't be that bad in any case though, so if I were OP I wouldn't lose sleep over it.
