Re: A3s float
I'm not a fan of the preflop call, especially if he's taggy.
What do you think about raising flop to like 35 and being done if calls/ you don't improve? Turn bet seems standard. I give up on river. |

[/ QUOTE ] flop raise was in the back of my mind, but i typically wouldnt raise with much of any hand here (even a set). probably 2pair. |

Re: A3s float
Preflop is fine, fold flop. Would be more inclined to call flop with something like T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] so you have a shot at busting him if he has a big hand in addition to the float.

Re: A3s float
Also, you probably only have implied odds here if you hit a three and you might have some serious reversed implied odds both with the ace (if he has AJ for ex) and the three (vs JJ for ex).

Re: A3s float
This looks like a good spot for a flop raise/give up UI.

Re: A3s float
I prefer a flop raise, but this is fine sometimes.
