I'm feeling kinda 3-barrelled

Villian is 23/21/8 over like 175 hands. Haven't seen him before today. Earlier I was in the SB and called a PFR w/JJ. He was in BB and 3-bet. I came over the top of him, he pushed, I called. He had AQo and spiked an A on the riv.

I'm prolly running 19/13/2 or thereabouts.

I checked flop cuz i knew he was aggro and would bet it for me, but now it looks like FPS since i got no info. Where do you play this different or maybe better question...where don't you play it different? lol. just give me a line here.

betting the turn here makes absolutely no sense. Getting raised is a disaster and it's tough for him to make much of a mistake. You shut down his bluff (drawing dead) hands and get called or raised by everything you beat, only get action from a small range of worse hands... and those hands would have often bet again anyway if given the chance.

why do u check flop? in my opinion, if u check flop , u are kinda responsible for calling down all streets if not scarecards arrive?
