Default NL400 - Low full 3bet pre

Dont know too much about him, but he's 20/13 over 350hands. I suspect he sees me as pretty aggressive and perhaps a bit loose.
I hate his riverbet cuz it pretty much kills my value, riverraise would probably shut out all worse hands and give value to his monsters.

Bet turn or do you like the check behind?

I bet the turn because it looks like a bluff, in the villain's mind, how does an 8 help me?

Not raising his bet on the river is bad. you have a boat and have zero reason to think he has something to beat you. Not to mention that you've played this hand so strangely that he could easily call you with something pretty weak.

bet turn, like 75-80ish.

as played, i raise river. only one hand you fear, QQ (well, JJ too), and I'd have to imagine he bets turn or bets river stronger with QQ. He could easily call a raise here with KK or AQ. make it 175-200. after that, i probably call a push from him too.

How do you not bet the turn?

How do you not raise the river?

Why did you post this hand? OP: "Because it's a brag that I didn't felt against QQ."

Bet the turn not getting this in is losing money over the long haul even if villan had a higher boat in this isolated case.

Seriously kiddo, why would I do that?

The reason to why I posted it was bc I thought it was interesting.. I too think I should've bet the turn, mainly bc it makes the hand heck of a lot easier.

However, I cant really see any reason to why I would want to raise the river, cuz I cant imagine being called by AA KK AQ more than 10% of the time; and I cant see why he would play em like that either.

You lost soo much value on this hand it hurts. Bet turn...raise river. His calling range is sooo much wider than QQ JJ here, wow. you don't think villain could play AQ similarly. Or AJ? Why do you think he would be slowplaying a boat here and then bet so small on river. I'm literally angry writing this.

wowwwwwwwwwwwwww.

you should seriously consider moving to lower stakes if you're not betting that turn and raising that river.

i agree with above, check on the flop is a pretty good one, everything else is played to passively, and with your point on the river i think you get value from a lot of hands because your turn check could easily be seen as weakness. Theres no point in checking the turn if you arent gunna get value on the river
