8.6 year cycle theory
This economist says there is an 8.6 amplitude to business cycles.
I'm hoping one of of the guys here might be willing to calculate the natural probability of his results. 8.6 year cycle post (in Finance) |

Re: 8.6 year cycle theory
The business cycle is related to taxation, which changes with presidents. Most party's have office for two terms and congress lags. ~= 8.6 years
Business cycle has very little to do with innovation/demand shifts. These are continuous. FYI, average venture capital cycle > 10years. |

Re: 8.6 year cycle theory
[ QUOTE ]
This is the first time I will reveal something that I discovered and kept secret for the last 13 years. The total number of days within an 8.6-year business cycle was 3141. In reality, the 8.6-year cycle was equal to p (Pi) * 1000. Suddenly, there was clearly more at work than mere coincidence. Through extending my studies into physics, it became obvious that randomness was not a possibility. [/ QUOTE ] lol People, scroll through this for a quick laugh. "randomness is not a possibility". Hahahaha |

Reading the rest of that Finance Thread it looks like this Martin A. Armstrong is now in jail for running a ponzi scheme.
