Default AA reraised pot facing resistance

Villian is like 40/13/4. Haven't been at the table very long, no craziness, no reads, no history. I don't like to fold aces.

Its hard to say but Insta fold truthfuly
U bet strong on flop and now he raises when it looks like u got ak or aa. Even if he has kq kj some of the time his equity vs your hand is good in position.its gonna be really hard to play this after the flop if one of the str8 cards hits

In reality I usu end up calling flop in this sit. And c/f to strong turn bet unless I pick up a bet sizing read

It also matters if he is a raise button everytime type of players and loose 3 bet caller in position. Since u don't know any of that. I'll give him the benifit of the doubt and give him credit for a hand here

I'm almost never folding AA in a RR pot to a 40/15

Its difficult to imagine more standard hand.
Just 3bet and then push or call allin on next occasion.

Don't fold this now. This is a blind battle, and he could very well have just a K or worse. If you 3-bet from the blinds as often as you should, you should get value from worse hands with a push, even against better players than this.

Btw, I probably prefer a raise to about 45-48 preflop.

I'm all for 100bb stacks get overpair in most off time. I didn't c he was 40vpip but that doesn't nec. mean he is a huge fish. He is unknown to hero and if hero says he is a fish then get it in.
Thing is with this board there is so much possible.lots of 2 pair hands, flopped str8 and of coure rare 999 101010. If there was a fd out there I'll be more inclined to get it in. This is not a great board and is not the same as a k 5 2 board.he might overvalue a king there. Idk how he could over value just a king with this board. He would be very worried if you 3 bet him. And even if he's at best got kq kj he is close to 38 40% to draw out. This with the fact that he prolly doesn't have ak as a likly holding. Makes me play this softly.
