Default TP3K in gross spot in RR pot against huge donk kinda deep ZOMG

Villain is like 51/5/0.8. He's donating freely but I haven't seen a big bet like this before. I can't figure out what he has to save my life. Also, my friend harped on my case for like 10 mins about the flop bet; just talk about the river plz. Or maybe a turn bet if you feel I should do so, I think turn can go either way.

EDIT: Forgot to add, I have $203 left on riv.

against the player described i'd bet the turn always purely for value.

What was wrong with the flop bet? Looks fine to me. Turn looks fine accordingly. River looks...I have no clue. I'd fold and give a stern look to my computer screen.

I don't know about re-raising w/ AJ vs a 5% PFRer. But you do have position against a "huge donk" so building a big pot when semi-deep I guess can't be awful.

I am in total bewilderment about the turn check. Value value value. Also makes it easy to fold if he pulls some crazy donk all-in sh*t on the river. If he checks to you on river of course you can check behind, or MAYBEeke more value (depending on just how spewy he is).

As played "WTF" is right, but I probably fold. If you've never seen him do this before it's most likely a boat of some description I think.

My friend said that he thinks the donk's range is heavily weighted towards any pair on this flop and went on for hours about betting being awful against a bad player having a pair here, heh. I just wanted to keep the thread focused on the real decision.

Cue-ball: I didn't RR him, the button (TAG w/ huge range obv) opened/donk called/I squeezed.

I feel like betting the turn actually gives you a fair bit of control...and I like being able to check-check this river.

IMO betting gives you the best chance of a.) getting money in when you're ahead, and b.) being able to fold or check/check the river when you're beat.

BLERGH. I've edited this so many times...and have to once more so that gir's next post isn't nonsensical

P.S. nice name/pic, gir is hilarious, etc etc
