How tight is too tight?
I was just wondering what people consider tight when they say to tighten up at the start of a sng. Does tight mean play only top 10% of hands? 15% of hands?
Please give me you opinion on this matter. Thanks |

Re: How tight is too tight?
I'm a firm believer that giving advice that is too generalized or vague does more harm than good. That's why I'm giving you the ever so frustrating response of "it depends". Ask something more specific.

Re: How tight is too tight?
At the lower levels (below $60) and with a full table of 9 players, most winning players are under 20% vpip. I think a lot of the 8-12 tablers are around 10% just because it is hard to play too many hands with that many tables.

Re: How tight is too tight?
i think my vpip on level 1 is around 7 - 8%.
i think i can still tighten up further and get out of marginal situations. |

There has been an abundance of noobish posts the last couple weeks, a search should find you lots of interesting(?) reading. |
