Default AK on the bubble

I've been reading for awhile, but this is my first post, so forgive me if I'm missing something... Here's my situation.

Full Tilt Poker
No Limit Holdem Ring game
Blinds: $3000/$6000
3 players
Converter

Pre-flop: (3 players) Hero is Button with A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
Hero raises to $12000, SB calls, BB folds.

Flop: 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] ($30000, 2 players)

I was on the bubble (1st and 2nd pay) of the final table after about 2 1/2 hours of play.

The person sitting in the SB was LAG... Not a maniac... but he pushes... usually when pushed though, he backs down. So I've had to be careful with my position during this extremely long final table.

So what's my pay after the flop?

Thanks. I'd really like to hear some feedback.

Stack sizes FTW. Turn card is also nice.

Stack sizes

Hero: 52,756
BB: 163,449
SB: 53,756

As far as turn, I'm interested the play after the flop. This is what I did though:

SB checks, Hero bets $30000, SB raises to $60000, Hero calls all-in $10756.
Uncalled bets: $19244 returned to SB.

Turn: 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] ($111512, 1 player + 1 all-in - Main pot: $111512)

River: J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] ($111512, 1 player + 1 all-in - Main pot: $111512)

Stop min raising - definitely stop min raising for such a large % of your stack with AK.

Hero: 52,756
Blinds: $3000/$6000
Hero is Button with A K and pushes.

You have <10bbs and are close to even with the sb's stack.

Don't give the LAGy Bigstack the idea he can push you off the hand - push preflop.

I don't like the pot sized bet with air. I really don't like the call with air. Bet enough to get the job done and not much more. You will still have enough chips left to last a few more rounds and make a more secure stand.

And yes, I agree the min. raise pre-flop was my mistake... before then, I had been going in pre-flop for 3x the BB... My screwed up thought was that I wanted action with a big hand. Not another situation where both players just fold to me.

Should I should have just checked the flop after I had already screwed up the pre-flop?

The end result was he had a 6s to win the hand, btw. I really think that was a crazy loose call, on his part (a call I would have probably never made)... but of course, I lost the hand, so who am I to say?

Yeah, that was definitely my first mistake... I should have gone in bigger preflop.

His final hand was Ks 6s to win with two pair... 9s and 6s.

In the future, it's better to not give results anywhere in the thread. Now any advice you get from this point forward might be tainted by the fact that they know what the result was. In fact, I'd edit it out now if I were you.
