writing a paper about 2p2, need help

Writing a paper for a journalism class about 2p2. The assignment is to research a media vehicle and analyze its influence on youth culture. Any input about how often you use the site, why you use it, how you incorporate it into your daily routine, etc. would be appreciated. Serious comments would be great because I plan to incorporate your testimonies into the paper. Thanks

How often you use the site? - a window is open all day everyday.

Why you use it? - I get all of my news and stupidity all in one place; oh their are some cool people on here too.

How you incorporate it into your daily routine? - by keeping it open on my computer 24 hours a day/365 days a year

I think you might just want to change the topic of your paper to message boards in general. Or at least to one that actually reaches youth...I think the average age here is 22-23, for the purposes of such a paper...and for those purposes only...these people are adults...

I use it constantly, mostly because I find it more entertaining than TV. The poker forums are pretty informative, the high stakes thread is great because it gives me something to make me hate my life/financial status (I love reading it though), I can get good information on anything on EDF, and OOT just basically cracks me up. Oh also, I found out that I can get laid at oriental massage parlors.

But really... I use it every day, for everything from general information to specific poker information to cooking/clothing/etc to plain entertainment.

Throughout the day. If I haven't been on in 2-3 days I feel out of the loop. I think I could write an essay on why it is so great. If it were a TV show, it would the learning channel, the news, advice columns, cooking channel, and several sitcoms all rolled into one.
