Semi-LC: February Graphs and March Goals!! (uNL Edition)

My goal in February was to get my bankroll to 2,400, which I clearly did (even had to cash out 1k), and I'm pretty happy with my results. I said I wanted to get to SSNL, and I kinda did, but I moved back down when I hit a breakeven stretch because I couldn't take it.



(add in about 900 profit for MTTs)


March Goals:
STAY at nl100
Win 20 buyins
Win a big donkament
Get my girlfriend something pretty

This month I moved up to NL50, around hand 2k. Didn't go well at first, but I recovered. BR around $1.1k now [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]



Goals for March:
- Play 10k hands
- Win some $$ in a large MTT
- Discuss more hands with my poker buddies [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

February was tough. It was my second losing month in a row (although I ended up down around a buy in, so breakeven or whatever) but basically it sucked.

I think that I ran poorly this month, and while I certainly made my fair share of mistakes I played OK and learned a lot this month. I was very careful with tilt and I've concluded that I have a problem with it, albeit a small one. My biggest goal for March is to run with way less tilt and more importantly to recognize when I'm tilting and STOP PLAYING.

My other goal is to find a couple buddies on the forum to start discussing stuff in depth so I have a resource other that SSNL and uNL.

February started out hot for me and I was up around 8 buy-ins at $25 NL and a final table freeroll "score" for $112.

I then lost everything I won in February in the past 3 days and then some.

I finish the month down $52.

Goals for March:
Don't push draws so hard in cash games.
Make at least one MTT final table with 300+ ppl

February sucked. I played substandard poker for the majority of it.

March goals: Play shorter sessions and focus on game quality rather than quantity. Spend less time playing poker and more time relaxing, and make the hands count.Be more aggressive when you know its the right thing to do. Take more time to develop stonger reads. Larger PFR percentage.

I plan to pwn, stay out of my way.

march's goals: keep platinum, make 25k more fpps, get plasma 50" tv.

My goal for February was to move up to NL50 permanently. I have beaten NL25 for 8PTBB/100 in January and am doing quite well at NL50 on stars (few hands, though).

When I ran into some bad beats right at the beginning of the month I decided to drop down to NL25 for a couple thousand hands to make up for the $80 or so I was down.

But then all hell broke loose at NL25:



I've had some people check my stats and look over hands and did quite some reviewing myself and I can only come to the conclusion that at least $250 of this is due to variance. Basically I was bleeding a little with my mediocre hands and lost a huge amount of big hands.

Goals for march are just getting back to normal again.
