Kinda deep
Villain's got a 2+2 type name. Stats are 27/15/2.3 over 70 hands.
We had one previous hand. Villain 3 bet me when I raised the button. I called with 99. I called a flop bet on K67 and folded to a turn bet on a Jack. Villain bet kinda strongly on both flop and turn so I got the feeling that he might be weak and be trying to steal. Re: Kinda deep
Fold, I don't think this is a double-barrel or someone value-stacking themselves often enough.

Re: Kinda deep
Preflop - just call, bloating the pot from BB with AQ makes no sense here. If nobody has already bet or if it's just you and SB, then you can raise, but re-raising here is bad.
Flop - This is why we don't want to raise preflop. You hit an A but truly don't know where you're at. You could easily be dominated by AK, but the pot is so big you almost have to call here. Turn - [censored]. Again, we have failed to control pot size and we're paying here. I don't see how we can call here unless we really love to gamble. Sure, some donks will play an obviously busted PP this way, say QQ, but if he's decent at all I fold. |

Re: Kinda deep
Actually I like betting the flop now that I think about it more.
The pot is already 90BB on the flop, and villain is not likely to pay you off with less than an ace anyway if you check, because you can't be bluffing an empty side-pot. The pot is big enough that getting MP out of the hand and taking down the 90BB pot versus shorty is a good result IMO. |

Re: Kinda deep
Bet fold the flop. Hmmm. What calls that we beat? Is it mainly for protection?
I could also c/fold the flop if he's never going to bluff with the dry sidepot. |

Re: Kinda deep
Protection basically. The pot is big enough that I don't really want to play guessing games. If you check, he might just bet his QQ or AJs for protection, I think.

Re: Kinda deep
I think this is fine as played but you have to fold turn here.
You'll rarely be ahead, possibly AJs and split with AQ. But you're crushed here normally Oh wait I thought you bet the flop. yeah bet the flop |
