LUCKY CHANCES TRIP REPORT

So, I decided to hit up Lucky Chances for the 10 10 20 2k min no max buyin game (40 to limp). And surprisingly, it’s a huge bunch of nits…

I’ll give a cliff notes version and just recall a few hands…

Weakass UTG named Chris calls as does UTG+1, I take a look at 25h and call loll and it gets folded around to the blinds who both call.
Flop comes 7 T J random suits and it gets checked to me so I’m like…wtf I bet 80. Small blind and Chris call. Turn is an 8. Checked to me again, so I fire 220, and small blind folds and Chris calls… so [censored], I’m hoping for a 9 to bluff his ass. River is a 9. he checks to me again. Lemme describe this dude, he’s a huge douche and weakass and one of those [censored] who takes nine years to make a call and he didn’t even buyin 2k because he [censored] up. He checks, and I throw in 600. he sits there for like 3 minutes contemplating and I know he flopped a straight…he’s just bitchin and moaning and showing the peeps to his left and right his cards and saying how I’m such a luckbox and [censored] and how badly he had me owned before the river…finally he folds…

I show of course. He goes nuts and starts calling me names like [censored] and [censored], and I just go “thanks for your money.” And the bitch goes on and on...and starts getting at my friend who was playing the 2,3,5 game about how he has no balls to play in the big game…I countered with “he does…and when he does he buys in full unlike a bitch like u with no balls”

So anyway I get moved to another table…
Boring ass hands not much happening, stealing a bunch of pots off these nits.

I’m one away from the button and at this point we have obligatory kills going…it’s basically a straddle from any position and u get to act after the blinds preflop. Dude UTG limps 80 (cuz of the kill). Dude directly to my right raises to 320, and I don’t have to act until after the blinds…who BOTH CALL…then it’s my turn…and dude UTG calls out of turn…so I don’t even care what I have at this point and I look at one card…a Q, and call cuz UTG, me, and dude to my right all have more than 5.5k (which was what I had). Flop is AKJ and it gets checked all the way around to me. I announced that I hadn’t looked and take a look…I have QT. I bet 800, and it gets folded around to the dude to my right who raises to like 2k or something. I shove, and he goes “[censored], I guess I’m committed now.” He has AK. Turn 9 river 2 ship the 12k pot!!!!

Then I just [censored] around for a bit and that was all…

So cliff notes version…
Owned some [censored] named Chris with 52 hearts
Got sick lucky calling with random ATC in position deep.
Bought in 4k, left with about 12k

Lucky Chances has so many grumpy old nits it's hilarious. They berate you every time they play a pot with you. I played there this weekend and I saw a fight break out between two 80-year-olds. One of them accidentally spilled his water on the other one, and the guy got so upset that he punched him in the face and gave him a bloody nose.
