Default QQ 200bb deep oop vs LAG

Spots like this suck. Villain is 31/23/3, very aggressive perhaps too much so, tough to play against oop but i don't think he's all that great to be honest.

Ok, i know i should be shot for my nittiness, my only excuse is that i lost a 400bb pot on another table moments before! Anyone got a better line? What do we do on the river if he shoves? Not that he neccessarily did here, but I was leaning towards a call i think if he did...

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ Hero (3 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

Button ($2196.47)
SB ($374)

Hero checks, Button checks.

I like how you played it so far and I probably call a river bet but it depends on bet sizing timing etc.

I feel AA and KK bet out the F, therefore I put Villain's range can be anything from AK to a suited connector that hit that flop. He's likely betting a flush on the T or complete air as representation- this makes calling the River shove easier as it is less likely he has A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]/K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] given his range but will depend on how V plays large pots.
Have you seen him in any before?

we don't have a history of deep stack play together, but he usually plays v aggressively is 3-bet pots. After i call his 4-bet i think he knows i almost always have a good hand so decides to shut down or go for pot control with his small overpair.

Anyone else got an opinion on this hand? What do you do if he shoves river a) almost instantly b) after thinking for a while?

Blocking bet of $450 does the trick here.

Blocking bet of $450 is about the worst thing you could do here .

Agreed, I think you have his range beat. I could see him on JJ here, c/c the river as well at least. I might even push on river depending on your feeling, although a 400bb pot is a big one to lost right before this hand
