2.50 AA with a Small Stack
UTG is loose passive limping and folding alot preflop. MP2 is loose passive min raising whenever he comes in. Button joined the table recently as a short stack and has been pushing with pretty weak hands. Tied a push a few hands ago with A2o.

Re: 2.50 AA with a Small Stack
Yes i agree. U should have moved all in preflop as u are now against 4 players wih aces when ideally u want 2 be heads up, or 3 players at most. Definitely a newbie mistake sry.Remember aces are only 1 pair.

Re: 2.50 AA with a Small Stack
Yep, R/R Preflop, you want to be HU with a PP, in a 4 way pot too many flops can crack your aces.

Re: 2.50 AA with a Small Stack
When you call you're inviting all the players behind you to come all, giving them the odds to call. Every player that stays decreases your odds of winning with aces. There's enough in the pot, just push em all in here.

deff push, 4 players to a flop when you have AA is scary.

Re: 2.50 AA with a Small Stack
I'm pushing pre-flop here...the pot is plenty big enough and I want to get HU with the button.

Re: 2.50 AA with a Small Stack
Limping or calling small raises when others are sure to follow you to a multiway pot is the equivalent of putting your testicles in a vice, and turning the screws until they pop out of your stomach.
I absolutely love playing against players who do this. They give me very nice implied odds. If i hit, they get stacked, if i miss, they dont get another cent off me. Its a win win for me, and a win a little more, lose the whole stack for them! As the nike slogan says with regards to slowplayint AA, "just dont do it" The trick is to raise more of your average hands pf to disguise your AA, rather than treating your monsters as a pet lap dog on a tight leash |
