Default Bluff catching

Villain is 30/20/2. His check call on flop and turn looks like a draw, and the open push on the river for more than pot just confirm that idea. Is it total spew to call here? I can't see any legit hands playing like that

Meh, I don't know about firing the turn here since I think whatever called the flop you'll just get called again since the board is so drawy. Though I think it really depends on the villain here since if you think he'll bluff a missed draw then I guess it's ok, but still pretty marginal to poor against his overall likely range.

What sort of hands do you think he will call the flop here? Is he calling the turn with only draws? In a vacuum, it's an easy fold, but calling in spots like this I think requires a ton of reads and it sounds like you don't have much.

Even if you're right he's "bluffing", you still lose to any pairs he might have made and so he shoves thinking he's bluffing. I would much rather make a call here w/ 8 good kicker 99/TT, but again, it really depends on the villain I guess...

I have some reads from previous hands. I saw him playing a set and he check-called flop, min check raise turn and 2/3 pot on river.

He checked river behind with weak top pair type hands a few times.
He could have something like AJ, but I think he would bet less on the river. I can't really see him do that with a PP.

So I guess he has a hand with no showdown value at all or a monster.

if hes bad he doesnt get the concept of showdown value. this will often be a bluff w/ a better hand such as 22/ bottom pair /whatever

dont make heroic calls with Ace high.

because it really sucks when you make the correct read, but still lose to 55 or 3d4d
