Flop str8, turn puts 3 flush
Playing 3-5 NL at Hawaiian Gardens.
Villian in hand has just sat down. No reads on this player. He has entire $300 buy-in in front of him. I am in BB with 6 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 8 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] and have about $450. 6 limpers (including SB and me.) $25 in pot after rake. Flop: 7 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 9 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 10 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] I flop low straight. SB check, I bet $20. Villian calls. Everyone else fold. $65 in pot. Turn J [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. Completes flush draw and possible higher straights. What's my line of action? Send out a blocking bet of about $30 or so? Check and react to villian? How should I react if villian bets $30? or $65? |

Re: Flop str8, turn puts 3 flush
Against an unknown I think you are probably still best and can fire a decent sized bet here. I don't generally give people credit for being good at poker until they prove otherwise.
Everyone else - what's a decent bet size here? |
