Re: Stupid KT Stars Million Hand
Im not crazy abt the preflop raise, but the call from r/r is standards due to pot odds. On the flop, i think u should r/r to 7500 to 8500. You have no idea where u r by calling and if he moves in after u r/r u can make a decision based on ur instincts what u know etc(90% fold). Being honest i think he has nothing because he bets 22000 into a pot of 15000. It seems a bit strange. Maybe he was protecting aces or kings but if he had str8 or trips etc. this is a very strange bet. Perhaps he bet with ace queen on flop, and now hit and wants to end the hand. Anywy i think u now have 2 fold but a raise on the flop was better 4 me.

Re: Stupid KT Stars Million Hand
I probably just fold PF (but call if suited), b/c of what happens on flops like these.

Re: Stupid KT Stars Million Hand
Ok one more stupid one cause I'm rusty.
I'm down to 11,500 and UTG+1 at 400/800/40 or whatever the ante is. I get 99 and raise to 2400 and the SB, lagerborg, who is a good limit holdem player no clue as to his tourney game, shoves from the SB. Call right? |

Re: Stupid KT Stars Million Hand
First hand:
Ahead of AK. Behind AA/KK/QQ/AQ/JJ/TT/99 I don't mind preflop (read dependant) and once you got there flop is pretty standard (I would have most likely considered a raise to 9k and then decided against it.) I like a turn fold for reasons stated above |

Re: Stupid KT Stars Million Hand
I hate the call preflop. Gets us in so much trouble like we are here. Flop is ok I guess. i think the turn is a super easy fold.
