Flop raise is fine imo. I would have bet about half on the turn to see where I was at. This would drive out A3c, A7 or maybe a weakish 10. If he cr or bets out on the river then you can fold. As played I fold. He could easily have an ace.

Fold river, I'd raise to $2.50 preflop and just call the flop, not looking to build a big pot after this flop.
