What happened to SNG traffic?

I stopped playing sng a long time ago and decided to play a few 60s(NLHE) on stars tonight. The regulars take forever to fill up, only the turbos fill up a little faster one by one. I remember in the old party days sometimes it's even hard to get a seat (they let you click on a seat to register). Is it because of the US legislation??
