games you regret not beating
there's a ton. I don't think I beat any of the NES Marios or the original Legend of Zelda. I get sad when I watch the speed play throughs (even though they're rigged).
number 1 has to be Bubble Bobble though. I reached the end boss multiple times and just could not beat it, even in 2player. |

Re: games you regret not beating
I don't really regret any, because I can still play whatever I want. It's not like the old games don't exist anymore...

Deus Ex. I just never got around to getting beyond the first few levels, even though it was supposedly a great game (I liked the sequel a lot).

Super Mario Bros. I couldn't beat it back in the day and I still can't.

Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King. It's one of the best RPGs I've ever played, yet I haven't gotten around to beating it. I'm committed like 80 hours to the game because I played it twice, both times I got to the same point and stopped.

Re: games you regret not beating
Kingdom Hearts II
Star Ocean til the End of Time Zelda: Twilight Princess Super Mario 3(most rigged game of all time) The first three are all recent starts and I always get to right before the end and try to do a million sidequests. This of course gets me burnt out on the game and I put it away until God only knows when. |
